We’re here. And we’re ready.

I appreciate that you will be receiving many letters like this, but as a customer who uses our services every single day, I want you to know how we’re keeping you connected during these challenging times.

Our focus today is the same as it’s always been — ensuring you have the most reliable network experience possible, whenever and wherever you need. That couldn’t be more important than it is now, as this crisis creates an environment where you are likely looking to use the service differently, perhaps working or learning from home. We are taking a range of actions to ensure we continue to meet your needs at this critical time.

As important as our network is to keeping you and our nation connected, there is an equally important network of people behind it. They work outside on our network and in our operation centers, customer service, and retail stores. And they are working tirelessly to keep you connected when it matters most. This world-wide crisis affects them too. That’s why we’ve made changes to our store and customer service hours and to some of our operating procedures. You can find information on your local stores using our Store Locator.

Most everything you can do in a Verizon store or via Customer Service can also be done on the My Verizon and My Fios apps on your phone, or on Verizon.com – from buying and activating a new phone to adding features or changing your plan. You can even troubleshoot common problems in our secure digital environment.
Connectivity when it matters most.

We’re particularly focused on ensuring enhanced support for our first responders, healthcare workers and students. Therefore, we’re giving priority access on our network to first responders and increasing capacity in hospital locations so that they can perform their essential duties in this time of crisis. For students who participate in our Verizon Innovative Learning program who don’t have high-speed internet access, we are providing expanded data capacity. We’ve also donated 10 million dollars to nonprofits who share our mission of supporting students and first responders.

Right now 130 million Americans like you are relying on Verizon to help them stay connected to their families, friends, coworkers and communities. We thank you for your trust and we promise to earn it every day. We will continue to keep you informed of our response measures at our Covid-19 response page. Whether you visit us on the My Verizon or My Fios apps, or on Verizon.com, our message to you is the same:

We’re here, and we’re ready.
