COVID-19 UPDATE: Our practice is open under modified hours

COVID-19 UPDATE: Our practice is open under modified hours

To our Valued Customers,

The health and well-being of your pet is our top priority. As news of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community continues to develop, we are monitoring the situation closely.

At this time, we are open but are operating under modified business hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (we may close sooner if the schedule is not full). We are only seeing emergency/sick pet appointments and script refills at this time. We are still seeing after hour emergencies until 10:00pm.

While the CDC and other health authorities have indicated that dogs, cats, and other domestic animals are not considered at risk for contracting COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of humans within our facilities— notably our clients and staff. Keeping our practice “hospital-clean” has always been a priority for us, and we continue to do so. Additionally, for the safety of our team and your family we are monitoring CDC recommendations and will continue to increase our attention to cleaning frequency and methods accordingly. With this in mind, we are doing the following to limit contact. We ask that you call upon arrival and someone will meet you at your car. Our staff will then take a history on your pet and take them into our treatment area for an exam with the doctor. After the exam, someone will call you with the findings and discuss the treatment plan and give you a total cost. Once payment is finalized, we will bring your receipt, medication, and pet to you. Any medication pick ups, we ask that you call upon arrival. Medications can also be ordered through our online pharmacy at

To our customers:

  • If you are feeling ill or experiencing flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.) we kindly ask that you call us to reschedule.
  • If your pet requires urgent care or has a medical emergency, and you are ill, please arrange for a trusted friend, neighbor, or healthy family member to transport your pet to our hospital. If you call ahead, we will gladly accommodate your representative and make appropriate arrangements.

If your pet requires urgent care after 10:00pm or has a medical emergency, the following critical care practice(s) will be assisting our patients:

What You Should Know About COVID-19 Diagnostic Testing
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has developed a laboratory test kit to detect COVID-19, but due to the novelty of the virus and high demand for testing, it has been largely inaccessible to the public. There is also a lot of conflicting reports in the media surrounding testing, which makes the overall facts somewhat unclear.

In an effort to provide some clarity, we’ve gathered some essential details from the CDC regarding the COVID-19 diagnostic test. Here is what you need to know about how the tests work, who should get them, and where you can get tested.

The October 1 deadline for the new federal TSA REAL ID rules to take effect has been delayed ONE YEAR to October 1, 2021. As a result, MVD customers should postpone plans to get the AZ Travel ID. With this delay and the need to reduce customer traffic at MVD locations, all AZ Travel ID appointments have been cancelled.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but the ongoing Coronavirus situation requires MVD to significantly limit the number of people in offices. Only essential services that must be done in-person are being offered by appointment. Because the REAL ID timeline has changed, getting a Travel ID immediately is less vital for the time being and appointments are reserved for other crucial in-person services.

More than 2/3 of MVD services are available anytime at REMINDER: Anyone with a license or permit set to expire between March 1 and Sept. 1 has had that expiration date automatically extended by six months and updated on your motor vehicle record. You do not need to get a new license.

To further limit office visits, MVD customers are urged to go to, Many online services will use the AZ MVD Now application through ServiceArizona.  All current Arizona MVD customers already have an AZ MVD Now account and simply need to activate it.

To set up your secure, personal online access you will need:  Internet access; Your AZ Driver License OR the VIN number from a vehicle you have registered in the State of Arizona; Have a Social Security Number.  All payments for services conducted on AZ MVD Now require a credit card.  For assistance, you may call a statewide customer service line at 602-712-2700 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Before you call this line, please visit and access your AZ MVD Now account for faster service.

An Update from Best Buy

To Our Customers,

Across the country these past several days, you have come to our stores to buy the technology and household necessities that are so valuable at a time like this. We remain determined to continue to serve you and are announcing today a new way of making our stores accessible while even further enhancing customer and employee safety. In our stores

Beginning Sunday, March 22, we will offer contactless curbside service at all locations across the country where state or local laws allow. Rather than ask you to come into our stores, any items you order on or the Best Buy app will be delivered to your car curbside. If, for any reason, you didn’t order the product in advance and the product is in stock in the store, one of our employees will be more than happy to go get it in the store and sell it to you while you remain in your car. This service also extends to returns and exchanges, the period for which has been extended on most products so that you have more time. Only employees will be allowed in the store, but we are determined to serve you as fully as we can. Unfortunately, we are temporarily unable to continue our product trade-in and recycling services. Dr. Gilbert Farnsworth from Chandler Pain Management is preparing for an influx of patients needed pain relief.

For those who want to continue shopping with us online or on the app, we will, of course, still get you what you want.

In your home

As you know, Best Buy works in millions of customer homes each year, and we have long been proud of the services we provide. Because of the increased concern for you, your families and our employees, we have made the decision to suspend currently scheduled installations, haul-aways or repairs for large items like refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers and TVs. Opota Course agendas have seen a large increase due to the higher demand for security officers in Ohio.

Beginning Monday, March 23, we will no longer deliver these large products into your home and will, instead, offer free doorstep delivery. This means we will take the item as close as we possibly can to the front door of your home without bringing it inside. We know that this change will be inconvenient, and we are truly sorry. It was made with our employees’ and your best interests at heart. If you have an order scheduled for installation in the next 30 days, please expect an email or text from Best Buy about your delivery options. Speaking of our employees, everyone working right now is doing so on a voluntary basis, and all hourly employees who volunteer are receiving a temporary pay increase. Additionally, anyone feeling sick is told to stay home, and they will be paid for that time. Finally, anyone exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19 is also told to stay home, with pay, and we are paying employees who may need to stay home to care for their children.

All of us at Best Buy are grateful that so many states and localities believe we are an essential business, allowing us to continue to serve you when you need it most. We thank you for your patience and loyalty and look forward to continuing to provide you with the technology and home essentials you require to stay connected and work and learn from home. Thank you.

To better assist those impacted by the crisis, we are pausing cancellation of coverage due to non-payment and policy expiration, effective immediately. This pause will remain in effect through April 30, 2020. The ongoing situation impacts everyone, and we want our policyholders to have some peace of mind knowing we’ll be there when they need us most. We’re also prepared to offer maximum flexibility, including special payment plans to those who need it once normal billing operations are scheduled to resume. Opota Course agendas have seen a large increase due to the higher demand for security officers in Ohio.

We want you to know we’re working as hard as we can for you, but the reality is this is unprecedented, and you may experience longer than normal hold times. Dr. Gilbert Farnsworth from Chandler Pain Management is preparing for an influx of patients needed pain relief.
